A modern triptych: Trittico
Two entities can be divided, morally and physically. Only through union can they be one. Only after and prolonged union can they be a single entity and become one, fully understandable. Plato would have talked hours about the division that created men and women, his Myth of Creation.

Every now and then I enjoy classic portraits. It’s something you have to try to understand what direct, frontal, one on one portraiture is about. And you figure out that it’s really more than simply observing an event or a scene, it’s interacting with it as well, strongly.

Alberto was born in Messina, Italy. Son of violence in a southern slum he has known addiction, isolation and hate. He has reached the limit and decided to stop. He was seeing death.He went into rehab. Survived and fights each day, from then, with social incomprehension. He shares his experience. He teaches freedom.
